It’s a familiar sounding plot, but it’s one that Neeson excels in, in fact, he may be too good at it by now. With all that said, The Commuter, much like Taken, Taken 2, Taken 3, Non-Stop and Schindlers List, etc is yet another fun Neeson film which you’ll probably enjoy much more than you’d be willing to admit. Rated 3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐✨

One year till Brexit: Is the departure date set in stone?
The question posed does of course have a very short answer – the UK is leaving the EU on that date because a majority of voters in the Brexit referendum of June 2016 backed the Leave campaign. Theresa May triggered Article 50 in March of last year before she had even conceived of her snap general election, never mind called it.
We look at why the seemingly inauspicious date of March 29 2019 was chosen, what problems it has caused, and how it could become an issue as the date looms larger. Given that she is now unable to move certain ministers due to potential rebellion, it is easy to forget how powerful Mrs May appeared this time last year.
However, it is hard to understate the outcry if, for whatever reason, the UK delays their date of departure from the EU. If Theresa May even hints at such a move, there will be a cabinet revolt, a furious media, and quite possibly a leadership challenge, within a matter of days, if not hours.
The fishing row shows the UK Government would rather remain part of EU institutions than delay Article 50. For better or worse, the UK will leave the EU a year today, no matter the consequences.

Bra – Mediacorp’s Challenging drama
Dealing with the emotions that come with being diagnosed with breast cancer is not an easy one. And it is this difficult topic that Mediacorp’s latest drama series BRA explores. The 13-episode series aired on Oct 23 2017 and ran daily from Monday to Thursday at 10pm on Channel 5. And while I was lucky enough to catch parts of it while I was in Singapore but never got to finish watching it as i had to return back to the UK.

UK could be set for ‘coldest week of winter’
The coldest week of winter could be yet to come, as forecasters urge Britain to brace for more snow and ice.
The Met Office has warned the mercury could plummet as low as -7C in some parts of the UK next week, while the bulk of the population can expect to shiver through sub-zero temperatures.
A series of weather warnings for ice and snow will be in place from Sunday and could last until the end of the week.
About 1cm to 3cm of snow could accumulate inland, mainly over hills above 100 metres.
So wrap up people..
