Veronica is a one time watch classic horror, but it is worthy of that watch! It doesn’t rely on scare jumps, gore, violence, it delivers on the typical Spanish movies level: tension!

It focused on what it wanted to tell and managed to connect with the viewer. At least it did so with me. I enjoyed Veronica, so an elevated 4 Star rating from me , just remember to turn on the subtitles if you are not fluent in spanish like me, and you will have great ride.

It’s a unique love story told in a strange setting. Sure there are many plot issues but the message still came across well. This type of film is not my cup of tea, but nevertheless, if it wasn’t for the love story , this would have been a complete disaster.

The true story of Molly Bloom, a beautiful, young, Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents.

Aaron failed to disappoint me with this one, hopefully the cast and crew of this film receive something noteworthy at the Academy Awards this year as this film cannot be hidden in shadows.

The dialogue was amazing, fast paced as per usual and with tons of detail fed to the audience. The cast was enjoyable to watch and Chastain is incredible both to the eyes and ears.

I recommend this film to anyone who has any interest in this person’s life (Molly) and screenwriting as a whole.
